I didn't realize that there was something in the works, but I just opened a
forum to be hosted by invision. They have to get back to me, hopefully
today. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I have one in the works. If

I really don't have a desire to be some major mod. When I opened the
account, I was thinking it would be nice to have more than a few mods
because that way things are more balanced. And I was thinking it would be
nice if we could keep it friendly yet snarky. Let me know what you think.

Hi Adrienne,
Well, I don't know what to tell you, because our board is already nearly finished (also hosted by Invision). It's taking longer than just being instantaneous because we are implementing certain specific design features.
So, unless you really want a board of your own, I think I would recommend you cancel your account. I mean, it's up to you, but I know the one being built (professionally) is rather nice (aesthetically pleasing) and extensive (with mods), and I have gotten notice from a very large number of people that they are interested and already waiting for it. It should be up soon.
Like I said, I'm not quite sure what to tell you.

I see today the FT forums are officially offline.

You're probably anxious about the new boards; I can assure you they're coming along very well. They will probably be up and running a little sooner than expected, hopefully no longer than another week or so.

I will post more information as soon as I have the time. Thanks to everybody for all the supportive emails.

Hello, FTers!

This the place to come for updates and the final URL.

An FTer was nice enough to set me up with a new email account just to post up here, since he had a very good point that maybe some unregistered lurkers might want to ask a question or two and can't reach me via FT. So here it is:

I won't be able to answer everybody back individually, but I can probably answer most questions here, so everyone can benefit from the information.

I know a lot of people have asked about the new sponsor, but it was agreed out of consideration for the developers of FT, details and specifics will not be discussed until FT shutters its forums.
